Utrecht Cultural Sundays are dazzling arts programmes filled with music, dance, theater or film. Every month. And usually for free.

”Growing Up”. That is the title of Utrecht’s next Cultural Sunday, March 14, 2010, after the great hit by Bruce Springsteen, and theme of this year’s National Literary Week (Boekenweek).
The programmes this month will be all about growing up in the literature.
 
Practice your Dutch and discover the marvels of Dutch literature.

Come and listen to the highly popular Dutch writer, Joost Zwagerman, author of the 2010 Literary Week Gift, “Duel”. At Utrecht Central Library (Bibliotheek Utrecht) Oudegracht 167, 15.00-17.00. It’s free.

Or come to the Town Hall,  Korte Minrebroederstraat 2, from 14.45 till 15.45 to listen to the prize-winning Dutch author, Charlotte Mutsaers, who grew up in Utrecht.

There will be a lot of other literary celebrities, including young and old talent..
Almost all sections of Growing Up! are free. Unless indicated otherwise, the programmes are for anyone aged 12 or above, There are a few programmes for younger kids.
