Games zijn anno 2010 alomtegenwoordig: als entertainment of als serious game, op de computer of op straat. Joost Raessens (hoogleraar Mediatheorie) vraagt zich af of onze cultuur werkelijk ‘ludificeert’. En is er sprake van ‘vrij spel’ of onttrekken de spelregels zich aan onze blik?

    Cultural Sundays is a series of monthly festivals and events. Local art institutions and venues work together to prepare a festival based on a theme, which is of specific relevance to the city of Utrecht. Each festival covers a broad spectrum of cultural and recreational events with programmes for a wide audience, programmed over one day: a Sunday. Many art disciplines, including theatre, opera, music, dance, film, literature, visual arts, street culture and storytelling are at one time or another represented in the festivals. Performances are given mostly by professionals, but occasionally also by amateurs. Admission is generally free of charge.
